Richard Nixon, John Entwistle and Robert Johnson recently visited the Hydro Atlantic wreck (max depth 174'). Viz is still great, maybe 70 feet (or more). The ocean temp remains at a remarkable 79°-80° F from top to bottom. Thanks to Captain Brad and Dive Master Matt for a great trip and support.

Fun dive on the Lowrance on 12/5. Water conditions were amazing! Temperature was 80° top to bottom, .5 knot current, viz almost to the UK, and a perfect drop by Candice on Wreck-A-Mended. 30 minutes bottom time and around 80 minutes TRT. It was a great day to be on the water with a great group of friends.

Crap day for diving on the Hydro Atlantic. Viz was, maybe, 15 feet. Good thing we carried lights. We had a water temperature inversion where the temp was 83° at depth and "only" 80° at the surface. Let's hope the viz improves soon.

Did a fun navigation dive a couple days ago. Captain John of Hydrotherapy dropped us on the Miller Lite. We then navigated south to the Clinton, then turned west to hit the Mariner tug, then south to the Rodeo 25, ending with pick-up on the Lady Luck. The whole dive, including deco lasted around 85 minutes with the trip from the Miller to Lady Luck taking around 44 minutes.
Oh, and we found Doug's lost BlackTip scooter along the way.

Today we dove to the seldom visited Caicos Express. The Caicos Express is a freighter intentionally scuttled off South Florida. It lies 240 feet beneath the surface. It settled into the seabed within two minutes of the detonation of scuttling charges. The Caicos gained additional fame by appearing in four episodes of the television series "Miami Vice".

Today was dive on the USS Muliphen day, with Stuart Scuba and what an interesting dive it was. Flat surface and the water was above 80° down to 120 feet then the temp dropped dramatically. We hit 66° at one point while Pablo was in 53° water inside the wreck. Viz was not much better than 10 feet...yes, TEN FEET, as you can see in these photos.
