We would like to recognize and send a HUGE congratulations to our guy Jayden Mingee on being selected to participate in this years 6-Man All-State Game in June! This kid definitely deserves this recognition, and is one we know will represent us well!! After all, how can you not have the best wide receiver in state be apart of this game?! With Jayden representing the Eagles at this game, that makes it 2 years in a row that a Deer Trail player will be represented at the All-State Game 🙌🏼🫡 Go show the state why you’re ranked #1, and represent us well kid!! We’re so proud of you 10!

For those interested, the game will take place June 6th at Adams State University in Alamosa, CO!

Congratulations again Jayden, we’re all extremely excited and proud of you!!! 🦅🙌🏼

Year 2 of the All In, All Covered Initiative!! This was another great experience for some of our guys yesterday morning! This year we had 8 of our guys have the opportunity to get fitted and scanned for new Riddell Axiom helmets. 2 Seniors, 1 Junior, 2 Sophomore’s, and 3 Freshman!! Each player got the opportunity to pick their face mask, and was fitted/scanned so that their helmet fits distinctly to their head in the upcoming season! The school should receive them in a few short weeks.

Again this was such a cool experience for the players! We’re ready to get rolling for next fall and looking forward to seeing our guys in some brand new gear next season!

Shout out to the Tyler from Riddell Sports for teaching the guys more about the new technology used within these helmets, and for getting these guys ready for next season! And a HUGE thank you the Denver Broncos for this donation!!

Our guy Jayden had his first official college visit over the weekend down in Salina, KS!

KWU offered Jayden a Football Scholarship a few weeks back, and it was necessary for him to go check out the school and facilities. It was a nice visit around campus! He got to see their locker room, weight room, various facilities, and was asked to join the Coyotes on the field pre game to meet players and Coaches.

Shoutout to Coach Snyder (not pictured) for helping put together this visit, and to Coach Gray for the great tour and hospitality!! It was great to see Jayden converse with other recruits, chat with players already playing at the collegiate level, and pick the coaches brains a little bit.

We’re excited for him and his next steps into this new journey 🙌🏼

Congratulations to these three Deer Trail players on a successful season. Senior #10 Jayden Mingee surpassed 1,000+ Receiving Yds. Junior #32 Mursal Hussein surpassed 1,000+ Rushing Yds. Junior #1 Chris Manriquez surpassed 1,500+ Passing Yds.

Triple Threat!! 😤🦅

Congratulations to these 3 guys, on officially finishing out the 2025 Football Season ranked in the Top 10 of their respective categories!! All 3 of which had well over the 1,000 yard mark on the season! Each of you truly embody what it means to be an Eagle, and showed it every single week! None of this happens without everyone else involved. We’re all so proud of you guys! Great work!

-Chris finished 3rd in the State for Passing🥉
-Mursal finished 9th in the State for Rushing 🤯
-Jayden finished 1st in the State for Receiving 🏆
