Liberty Christian Classical Academy just held our very first House sorting! Students joined the houses of Nehemiah, Joshua, Daniel, and Joseph. All four houses are named after great men from the Bible who serve as timeless examples of wisdom and courage.

Nehemiah: Built with strength and action.
Joshua: Led with courage and faith.
Daniel: Stood firm in truth.
Joseph: Served with wisdom and grace.

To prepare for this journey, our students studied five powerful symbols of godly leadership, each pointing us directly to the character of Jesus and the truth of Scripture.

Gavel: Reflects Jesus as the righteous Judge (2 Timothy 4:8) who leads with perfect justice and equity.

Hourglass: Reminds us to redeem the time (Ephesians 5:15-16) and trust Jesus, who holds all our days in His hands.

Lantern: Points to Jesus as the Light of the World (John 8:12) and commands us to let our light shine before others.

Salt: Connects to Christ's call for us to be the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13), preserving truth and goodness.

Compass: Centers on Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), who guides our steps daily.

What an incredible way to begin our very first school year! 📚💙

Because of the extraordinary generosity of one family, along with so many members of our community, almost 450 books are waiting on the shelves for our students tomorrow morning.

These are more than books on a shelf. They are stories that will spark imaginations, biographies that will introduce our students to men and women worth knowing, and beautiful works that we pray will cultivate a lifelong love of what is true, good, and beautiful.

To the family who provided an astounding 316 titles, and to every person who purchased, donated, shared our wish list, and prayed for our school: thank you. You have helped build a library before our students have even walked through the doors for their first day.

Tomorrow, those doors open. 🤍🦅

First day of school, here we come!

On the tenth day of August, the good Lord gave to us… ten lessons planned, nine friendships forming, eight joyful cheers, seven psalms for praying, six hymns for singing, five timeless virtues, four storybooks, three sharpened pencils, two willing hands, and joyful hearts for learning faithfully!

And if we’re being accurate… there are a lot more than ten lessons planned. Our teachers have been hard at work preparing for a year full of learning, growth, truth, and plenty of good books!

The countdown is almost over! Our anticipation and excitement are growing by the day, and we can’t wait to welcome our students for the very first day of school! 💙💛
