✨☎️Good News Calls of the Week ☎️✨

We’re excited to celebrate this week’s Good News Calls: Paisley, Aeris and Daleyza!

Paisley has the biggest smile everyday and is such a great friend to everyone! She brightens everyone’s day with her sweet personality! This week, she was recognized by Mrs. Larson for working well with her group in math class! Way to go Paisley!

Aeris is such a wonderful student! She rocked her math problems this week! She solved every step and showed her work along the way! Talk about being the best math wizard! We are so proud of you Aeris! Mrs. Rivera recognized her for her hard work and effort!

Daleyza is the sweetest student! She was brave and used the hand dryers for the first time! Mrs. Burleson and Ms. Collins recognized her for the growth she has already made this year! We cannot wait to see all that she will accomplish! Way to go Daleyza!

This week, they each got to pick from principal’s treasure box and were celebrated with a positive call home!🎉

Way to go, stars! We are so proud of the way you are making SJE a better place!🫶🏼

⭐ We are so proud to celebrate earning the Closing the Gaps Distinction from the Texas Education Agency! This accomplishment reflects the dedication, collaboration, and relentless commitment of our teachers, staff, students, and families. We are closing gaps, opening doors, and helping every student shine! ⭐❤️

Congratulations to the students and staff of San Jacinto Elementary for earning a 2026 STAAR distinction for Closing the Gaps

A distinction is an award given by the Texas Education Agency to high-performing schools. Each school is compared to a group of 40 similar schools from across the state. To earn a distinction, the school must perform in the top 10 of those 40 comparative schools.

For parents and stakeholders, distinctions are exciting accomplishments indicating that their child’s school is performing at a high level in specific areas when compared to similar schools.

Today we celebrated our first shining star of the year, Ms. Ramirez! Her positivity, dedication, and genuine heart for teaching shines through in everything she does!
