The Ursuline Education Network (UEN) is thrilled to announce Rosann Whiting as its next Executive Director. UEN was created 30 years ago to foster collaboration among the Ursuline sponsored schools across North America.
Whiting joins UEN this fall. She most recently served as President of Ursuline Academy in Dedham, MA, where she led the school for 11 years. Her impressive credentials include degrees from Creighton University, Our Lady of the Lake University and the University of Notre Dame. She has been an Associate of the Ursulines of Mt. St. Joseph, Maple Mount, Kentucky for more than twenty years. Some of her accomplishments include physical enhancements to Ursuline Academy, growth of the student body, expansion of course offerings and a passion for Catholic education. Whiting’s knowledge of the Ursuline charism is demonstrated in her articulation of mission. She has always worked to be seen as a strong role model for the faculty, students and families of Ursuline Academy.
Whiting begins in her now role at the end of September and will attend the UEN Conference: Becoming Agents of Justice: Compassion and the Ursuline Charism. She follows Judy Wimberg, former President of Saint Ursula Academy in Cincinnati, who is retiring.
