Our summer program is in full swing! Students volunteering at the Lyme-Old Lyme Community Garden helped to harvest an incredible 93 pounds of fresh produce for the Connecticut Food Bank! ❤

A reminder that our academic and vocational programs are closed today in honor of Juneteenth, a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. On June 19, 1865, federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas and gave word to enslaved African Americans that they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.
