A special thank you to Ms. Mariah from the Deep River Post Office for giving us an exclusive tour of the space! We got to sneak through the back & see all of the behind-the-scenes work of the Post Office ✉️

We learned how to mail a letter & got to check out the loading dock; even getting to see the process of how the workers load up their trucks with packages! 📦

We had a wonderful trip to Adams this morning as we ended our week of "Food Industry" Helpers!

Mr. Mike gave us a tour of the grocery store & of course we were snacking on fruit, cheese, and chocolate chip cookies along the way 🍇🧀🍪

Our friends learned about each department and even got to pet a real lobster - a big THANK YOU to all of the workers who help the store to run each day.

A special thank you to Pastor Cheryl from the Deep River Congregational Church for welcoming us into the sanctuary to learn more about her job as a community helper & church leader!

Through role play & imagination (like doll play), children internalize social norms and behaviors. Today our friends cared for these babies through bathing, dressing, and drying off their clothing.

By offering all children, regardless of gender, opportunities to engage in caregiving roles, we shift the cultural tools they're exposed to - and in turn, reshaping future gender norms.
