DCD Summer Camp isn't complete without one of our most anticipated traditions—the annual Foam Party! 🫧🎉

Laughter and squeals of delight filled the air as campers (and counselors!!!) danced, played, and disappeared into mountains of foam. And as if the day couldn't get any sweeter... we even caught a Big Buddy/Little Buddy reunion in the middle of all the fun. 💙 Moments like these remind us that camp is about so much more than activities—it's about friendships, connections, and memories that last long after summer ends.

This summer at Horizons at DCD, 140 Scholars are making the most of every day—diving into engaging academic and enrichment projects 📚🔬, exploring the great outdoors with friends 🌳, building confidence in the pool 🌊, and creating unforgettable memories with Horizon's incredible teachers and dedicated volunteers. 💙

Horizons at DCD is a tuition-free summer academic enrichment program that serves students for 10 consecutive years, from Pre-K through 8th grade, helping children build self-confidence, discover new passions, and realize their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.

This morning, following DCD’s 2026 Closing Ceremony, our eighth grade students took part in two cherished traditions on the eve of graduation. The celebration began with the Last Will and Testament, where students shared a mix of humor and insight as they passed down thoughtful and imaginative “gifts” to the seventh graders, offering guidance for the year ahead.

Grade 8 students then had the honor of adding their painted handprint to the walls of DCD, creating a lasting symbol of their time here for future students to see and celebrate.

The Class of 2026 has left an unforgettable mark on our DCD community. As they head off to new schools, we know they will continue to shine and make meaningful contributions wherever they go. Congratulations and best wishes to the DCD Class of 2026!
