Ready to start babysitting? This American Academy of Pediatrics course covers childcare, household safety, first aid, CPR/AED and how to prepare for babysitting jobs.
Taught by Juanita Allen Kingsley, an experienced safety and preparedness instructor with EMT and Wilderness EMT training.

On November 30, DCH is offering two safety-focused classes designed to prepare young people for more responsibility, while helping parents feel more confident about those next steps.

🏠 Home Alone Safety | Ages 9–11 | $70
Is your child getting ready to spend some time home alone? They’ll learn practical skills including first aid, internet safety, fire and accident prevention, door and telephone safety, and how to handle unexpected situations.

👶 BLAST Babysitter Lessons, Safety Training & CPR | Ages 10–14 | $105
