On 4/9/2026, we gathered at the beautiful home where Chapter GO was organized on 4/15/1925. We enjoyed a tour of the former home of founding Chapter GO member Merle Knight, which has been completely renovated by David Wadsworth and is for sale.
We posed for a photo on the stairs, which were referenced in the founding meeting minutes: "White clad forms came floating down the stairway, and initiates, in various stages of apprehension and emotion, were banished to the upper regions..." Thanks to Connie B for arranging this full circle moment to conclude our 100th anniversary year!

Our chapter’s 2024 STAR Scholarship winner, Brynn Storhoff, is featured in a story from the University of Iowa College of Education for her academic work and participation in the rowing team! We’re proud of you!

Student-athlete Brynn Storhoff says she is excited to be pursuing the new Counseling and Behavioral Health Services undergraduate major. The Decorah, Iowa native is passionate about improving the access and quality of mental health services for everyone in her home state.

Our chapter is exceedingly proud of our own Rachael Buresh, who was just installed as Vice President of Iowa State Chapter’s executive board in Des Moines at state convention! Hats off to you, and may the coming year be one of learning, leadership, and love in P.E.O.!
