Don't forget Sept. 10 is Su***de Awareness Day. Write "Love" on your arms to help raise awareness. "Su***de is the second leading cause of death among college students and the third leading cause of death among all youth 15–24 years old. In the U.S., only accidents and homicides claim more young lives."

If you had to choose between a silver medal and a bronze medal, most people would choose silver. But psychologists have found that Olympic silver-medal winners tend to be unhappier than those who win bronze.

People like using the honor till at farm stands because being trusted feels good. Still, it's not universal. Even if most people do the right thing, eventually someone's going to take all the money, researchers warn.

Interesting new research on perception.

Psychologists have come up with an interesting twist on the old notion of the power of positive thinking: They've shown that you may be able to improve your golf game by believing the hole you're aiming for is larger than it really is.
