Sometimes - when learning is extra hard (oh I don’t know - because it’s too insanely HOT outside!), I get extra creative. 🧐 Using the three most common ukulele chords, we made up a silly song that “forced” Selena to learn and practice!😁 And that my friends - is how it’s done!! And boy do we have fun.🤣😍

I always perform with my students at recitals. I want them to know we’re in it together! I will never ask a student to do something I won’t do (i.e. practice, dress up, perform in front of a bazillion people…and even make mistakes and keep going!!).

It has been one of my greatest privileges to have this lovely young lady as a student in the studio for over a decade!! It seems like just yesterday when that exuberant 6 year old stepped into the studio.

Ari, it has been such a joy to see you grow, both as a musician, and an individual. You have left quite the imprint on the studio, that none of us will forget. The future looks so bright for you! And I can’t wait to see all the “places you will go!”🥰😘
