We are beyond grateful for the love and support shown at our 1st Annual Mrs. Kay's Learning Center Summer Carnival! ❤️

Thank you to our Pastor and First Lady, Leon and Shirley Young and House of Miracles Pentecostal Church, Every Family, Volunteer, Sponsor, Community Partner, and Friend who came out and made this event such a success. Seeing our children smiling, laughing, and celebrating is what it's all about.

A special thank you to everyone who donated their time, resources, and talents. Your generosity helped make this day possible, and we truly couldn't have done it without you.

Most of all, we give all glory to God for His guidance, protection, and countless blessings over our program and our community.

Thank you for believing in our mission and for continuing to support Mrs. Kay's Learning Center. We can't wait to see what God has in store next!

The Impact Behind Every Dollar 💙

Every dollar invested through United Way of Decatur & Mid-Illinois helps strengthen local programs that are proven to create lasting change. Through a rigorous volunteer-led investment process, we fund the most effective, efficient, and integrated programs—because every dollar deserves to make a difference.

One of those programs is Mrs. Kay’s Learning Center The families they serve rely on them not only for childcare but for consistency, encouragement, and opportunities their children may not otherwise experience. One of the greatest impacts they see is the peace of mind families have knowing their children are in a safe, caring, and educational environment while they work.
"United Way's support will help us do more than care for children; it will allow us to provide extra support to families as well. Every day we create a place where children feel loved, encouraged, and excited to learn while parents have the confidence to pursue work, education, and their goals, knowing their children are in good hands." ~Jessika Kay Dampeer, Director, Mrs. Kay's Learning Center

Because when we invest together, we create opportunities that last a lifetime!
