Rock University: Millikin

Rock University: Millikin Rock University is a part of Millikin University's Prep Department that includes music programs for kids, private lessons, and workshops.

A collaborative program for middle school and high school students to develop their musical skills by playing rock and popular music with other students from the Decatur (IL) area.

We were super psyched to catch the closing show for this this year's First Gig Rock N' Roll Camp for Kids - Decatur this past Saturday. There were so many talented kids and the bands played some great tunes really, really well. Rock on guys!

All of us connected with Rock University: Millikin and First Gig Rock N' Roll Camp for Kids - Decatur are devastated to hear of the loss of long term student Andi Carr after a long struggle with Type 1 Diabetes. Andi was deeply committed to making music and there was nowhere where her personality shone through more when she was singing and playing with her bandmates. She was a unique spirit that touched everyone that she met and she will be missed more that we can ever express. We share our deepest condolences to all her family and friends.
