Kayla Mashburn placed Gold at Nationals in her Equine Science proficiency award.

Meigs County FFA will also be recognized on the big stage as a 3-Star National Chapter Award.

Good kids come and go through the agriculture program, but then there are some that are exceptional, and Jaxon Long is one.

We are so thrilled to announce that Jaxon is one of the TOP FOUR IN THE NATION in his SAE program of Dairy Production. Jaxon will be competing in October for the national title. Proud does not even describe our feelings at the moment...he truly is one in a million.

We had an awesome week at TN FFA Leadership Camp at Camp Clements! Our FFA members got out of their comfort zones and got involved in leadership classes, sports of all kinds, boating events, flag lowering ceremonies, team building events, the talent show, extemporaneous speaking, quiz bowl, quiz contest, and more. They showed up and showed out!
We brought home some hardware too!
2 members received Bronze Leadership Awards
5 members received Silver Leadership Awards
2 members received Gold Leadership Awards
2 members were Outstanding Athletes on their sports teams
1 member was Outstanding Sport on their sports team
Best of all, our members earned the Outstanding Chapter of the Week Award!
We are so proud and honored to be a part of their success!
