Today’s the day! We are so excited to share our new mascot: Sir Citation Styles the Squirrel! 🐿️
Sir Citation Styles is a natural at public speaking and a talented writer, and we could think of no one better to represent us at the Center for Writing and Speaking. He embodies our values of collaboration, critical thinking, and boosting others’ confidence in their work.
Sir Styles was born in Liverpool, where he first became interested in writing after penning his first poems in collaboration with his friend Paul McCartney. He graduated from University of Oxford with a Master of Arts in Creative Writing. He earned his knighthood from his outstanding achievements in the arts.
In his free time, he loves climbing trees, eating acorns, and crocheting.
He is very excited to join us at Agnes Scott in his new role as CWS Mascot! Expect to see Sir Citation Styles more in the future!
Created by the Publicity and Events Committee and drawn by Sophia Baker.
