A BIG thank you to Decatur Morgan Hospital for allowing us to set up a shirt display at their uniform sale. We're located beside the visitors' booth at the main entrance. Come by and see us!! We will be here today and tomorrow. Proceeds from the shirt sales go to the Lee Lott Breast Health Fund

Yesterday morning at 10:43 a.m., DFR crews were dispatched to a possible business fire in the 1100 block of Knight Street. Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke coming from the business. The employees were able to safely evacuate and there were no injuries. Crews were also able to rescue a litter of kittens from the building, and all are happy and healthy!!!! Great job, everyone

The 17th Annual Brothers For Life 5K was a HUGE success!

This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our wonderful community! We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every person who helped make this year’s race such a success. 🙌

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bo’s family, friends, and DYS!! He was an amazing individual.

It is with profound sadness that Decatur Youth Services mourns the passing of our dedicated colleague, Bo Martin.

Bo was a loyal and devoted employee who faithfully served Decatur Youth Services and the children of our community with kindness, compassion, and unwavering commitment. He was a true team player whose positive spirit, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for helping young people made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Throughout his years of service, Bo touched countless lives and served our community with excellence, integrity, and heart. His legacy will continue to inspire us, and his presence will be deeply missed.

On behalf of the Director Johnny Jones, administration, staff, and the entire Decatur Youth Services family, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Bo’s wife, son, friends, and all of his family during this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they celebrate a life that was truly dedicated to serving others.

Bo Martin’s legacy of compassion, service, and commitment to our youth will never be forgotten.
