✨🍕 Glow & Pizza Party! 🍕✨

On our last day of summer before everyone headed back to school, we had the best time celebrating with a fun Glow-in-the-Dark & Pizza Party! We enjoyed a yummy lunch with pizza, cookies, and chips. After lunch, the fun continued with face painting and lots of exciting glow-in-the-dark items!

Once we turned off the lights, it was time to PARTY! 🎉✨ The kids loved jumping around, dancing, laughing, and showing off their glowing items. It was the perfect way to end our summer together and make some fun memories before heading back to school! 💕🪩

👀👅 Our 5 Senses Week! 👃👂✋

For our last week, we had so much fun learning about our 5 senses and how we use them every day without even realizing how important they are! We made our own eyes using colored paper to match our eye color while learning about sight. We also made a tongue and drew four different foods we love while learning about taste.

One of our favorite activities was making edible play dough using flour and frosting! We used all five of our senses during this activity. We used our eyes to see it, our taste buds to taste it, our ears to hear it as we squeezed it, our noses to smell how sweet it was, and our hands to touch and play with it. We even used cookie cutters to make fun shapes!

We also did a fun mystery touch box activity! We made holes on the sides of a box so the kids could put their hands inside without seeing what was in it. They had to use only their sense of touch to feel the objects and guess what they were touching. The kids had so much fun feeling, guessing, and trying to figure out each mystery item! It was such a fun, hands-on way to learn about our five senses! 💕

We had so much fun wrapping up some of our last summer activities with Dinosaur & Fossil Week! The kids made their very own dinosaur skeletons using different types of noodles and got creative with their designs. We also made homemade fossils using flour and water, baked them, and let the kids paint their fossils once they were ready!

⛸️ We also took a fun trip to the skating rink! The kids had a blast skating, laughing, and spending time together. It was a great way to enjoy one of our last summer adventures! 💚🦕

🎨 Painting Day! 🎨

We had so much fun getting creative with a special painting lady who came and showed the kids how to paint! She explained different techniques and helped the kids sketch out a few ideas before getting started. Once they were ready, the kids grabbed their watercolors and brought their ideas to life! 🌈🖌️ They absolutely loved having the freedom to brainstorm, explore, and be creative with their artwork. It was such a fun and colorful day! 💕

Late Patriotic Week! The kids created beautiful American flags using colorful tissue paper and had a great time showing their creativity. On Wednesday, we enjoyed another field trip to the park, where everyone had so much fun running, playing, and spending time with friends. We also made our tie-dye shirts, mixing bright colors to create one-of-a-kind designs. We wore our awesome shirts last Wednesday for our movie theater field trip to show off all of their hard work!

Today we finished up our week by creating these colorful flame crafts using tissue paper. The children had so much fun tearing and gluing the tissue paper to make bright flames. Today we learned all about firefighters and the important job they do to help keep our community safe. We talked about the tools they use, how they respond to emergencies, and ways they help people every day. The children enjoyed learning about firefighters and were excited to show off their creative flame projects!
