🍂 Last Week’s Classroom Recap! 🍂

Last week was full of fun, creativity, and learning! We made our very own scarecrows using paper bags, giving everyone a chance to use their imagination and creativity to make their scarecrow unique. We also enjoyed snack time and spent time writing in our journals about the things we were learning.

We watched several fun learning videos about the four seasons, with a special focus on fall and the pumpkin life cycle. After learning, we wrote about what we discovered in our journals and then shared our thoughts and ideas together as a group. 📝🎃

To make the week even more fun and cozy, we celebrated Pajama Day! 💤✨ We got to learn, create, write, snack, and share with our friends all while wearing our coziest pajamas! It was a wonderful week filled with learning and lots of fall fun! 🍁

🍂 Infant Room Fall Fun! 🎃

Today in our infant room, the babies had so much fun exploring fall! They got to explore a real pumpkin by touching and feeling its different textures, noticing its shape, size, and beautiful colors. They also got to play with fake leaves and explore the fall colors orange, red, and yellow. For our craft, the babies used beautiful fall colors on paper and got to move the paint around by gently massaging the paper from side to side. When we opened the paper, they were so excited to see the amazing design they created! 🎨🍁 Their artwork included beautiful shades of red, orange, yellow, and brown, making it the perfect fall masterpiece! ❤️🧡💛🤎

🍂 School Kids Classroom Recap! 🍂

Last Friday, we had so much fun learning about fall! 🍁 The kids enjoyed working on their fall writing passage, where each child was given one prompt from three different fall topics and got to write their own passage about it. This gave everyone a chance to practice their writing skills while sharing their own ideas and thoughts about fall. We also made a fun and creative craft where the kids got to design their own crazy hair using printable leaves and sticks! 🍂🌿 They loved getting creative and making each one unique. The kids also had a great time playing in our Dramatic Play Fire Station, which has quickly become one of their favorite centers! 🚒👩‍🚒 We also continued learning about the four seasons and talked more about what makes fall special, including the changing leaves, cooler weather, and everything we see during this beautiful season. 🍁🧡
