As of 4.3.18, there has been a limited quantity produced this year. Most is sold. Ask a ‘grocery manager’ in a store with large kosher display.

Happy Passover. Next Year in Jerusalem (and hopefully on a grocery shelf near you!)

The Answer, My Friend, Is Matzolah.

Folk legend Peter Yarrow embraces his canister of Matzolah with Foodman President Wayne Silverman

After leaving on a jet-plane from Atlanta, Foodman President Wayne Silverman arrived at the home of Foodman Executive Vice President Scott Gantwerker and wife Debbie in Ridgefield, Connecticut to prepare for Kosherfest 2014. It so happened Silverman’s life-long friend, folk singing legend, Peter Yarrow was appearing there with Noel Paul Stookey (both of the folk group Peter, Paul and Mary) and were beginning a tour for the publication of their book “Peter, Paul and Mary: 50 Years in Music and Life”. They started their tour near the late Mary Travers’ home at the historic Ridgefield Public Library. The library auditorium was packed for an evening of nostalgic and meaningful music.

From the stage, Yarrow acknowledged Wayne’s work with him for 18 years at the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas. He was very excited about Matzolah and now that he is a fan, he is going enjoy eating it from morning until the day is done. Supplies of Matzolah will will accompany Yarrow and Stookey on the tour.
