Special congratulations goes out to senior clarinetist and drum major Abby Cook for earning the principal clarinet seat in the Chattanooga Youth Symphony! This is a prestigious auditioned ensemble that includes students from all over lower East Tennessee and North Georgia. We’re proud of her accomplishment and look forward to seeing their performances throughout the school year!

Hey band family and friends!

I’m so excited to share with you some band swag you can get as we go into the school year! The first is our marching band show shirt. All marching band students will already receive one (paid) that they can wear at school, football games, and competitions. Any additional orders of this shirt must have a copy of the order form and money turned into me by the end of the day on Thursday, August 13th.

The next is a Meigs Band t-shirt, crewneck sweatshirt, and hooded sweatshirt. All orders of these items must be turned in to me with the order form and money by Thursday, August 20th.

A portion of each sale goes back to help support the band program. If you're interested in purchasing any of these items, see a MC band student or send us a message here on Facebook These items are the first of many Meigs County Band merchandise options to come. I hope you enjoy them!
