🐾 Help Reward Our Amazing Beacon Hill Students! 🐾

When our kids embody the BARK attributes, they earn points from teachers and staff. Every Friday at lunch, they get to spend those points on well-deserved treats at the BARK Storeβ€”but we need your help to keep the shelves stocked and the store booming!

We are looking for parent volunteers to help run the store and item donations to keep our students celebrated.

πŸ”Ή How You Can Help:
Volunteer For a Lunch Shift: Join us during Friday lunches to help students redeem their points.

πŸŽ‰ Hispanic Heritage Month at BHMS has been full of energy! From classroom activities to schoolwide games, our Bulldogs have been celebrating the cultures and traditions of the Spanish-speaking world all month long through October 15th!

Here is a look at what we have been up to:
🎢 Exploring vibrant music, traditions, and cultural activities in Spanish class
πŸ’€ Diving into pre-DΓa de los Mu***os classroom projects
πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈ Hunting for hidden LoterΓa cards around the school to answer trivia questions and win prizes

🦈 Gifted Resource Students Take on Shark Tank!

Our Gifted Resource students, under the guidance of Mrs. Nicks and Mrs. Boersma, recently completed their exciting Shark Tank-style InVenture unit, inspired by the Georgia Tech InVenture Project!

Throughout this hands-on learning experience, our young innovators put their creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills to work as they navigated every stage of the innovation process:

πŸ’‘ Identifying real-world problems that need solving
🧠 Brainstorming creative and innovative solutions
πŸ› οΈ Designing and building hands-on team prototypes
🎀 Pitching their inventions live to a panel of Shark judges
A huge Bulldog shout-out to Mrs. Nicks and Mrs. Boersma for creating an engaging learning experience that challenged students to think outside the box, take risks, and bring their innovative ideas to life!
Experiences like these demonstrate what makes Beacon Hill specialβ€”a place where every student is seen, supported, and empowered to succeed! πŸ’™πŸ’›
