Arbor Montessori School Teacher-founded, private AMI Montessori school in Decatur, GA, serving ages 18 months to 18 years. We have two Decatur campuses.

Founded in 1970, Arbor is one of the largest Montessori schools in the Southeast—the flagship of Montessori education in Atlanta. One at 2998 Lavista Road and the second at 1434 Scott Boulevard. The school includes one Toddler classroom, four Primary classes, five Elementary classes and a thriving Adolescent Program. We are accredited by AMI, SACS and SAIS. Our Mission:
The mission of Arbor Montessori School is to develop the unique capabilities of each child through supportive relationships, joyful learning and meaningful work in a Montessori environment. We seek to foster independence in each child, preparing him or her to contribute with integrity to the community of the larger world.

The Adolescent Program's first full Coffee Corner of the year is coming up next week! Coffee Corner is a breakfast business managed by our AP students, hosted from 7:45 to 8:30am several times during the year. Join the Arbor community in the AP classroom to enjoy coffee, baked goods, and other refreshments before drop-off begins on Thursday, October 22nd. All are welcome!

Safety Patrol gives our Upper Elementary students the opportunity to take on a meaningful responsibility in the Arbor community during morning carpool.

Each day, these students help support a safe and organized carpool arrival for our Primary students, while practicing leadership, awareness, responsibility, and service to others.

Small, consistent responsibilities like these help students grow into capable, confident members of their communities.
