For the first time in 27 years, Arbor Montessori School will not graduate a full class of 8th year students. With the addition of the new high school program opening in the fall, Arbor no longer ends after 8th grade. For some, there's no need to say goodbye!
We join our wonderful group of 8th years as they celebrate the end of middle school and the beginnings of their high school journeys. Thank you to all who have had a hand in the journey of this special group of young people.
Congratulations to the class of 2026, and welcome, Arbor Class of 2030!

Why are the children always baking? 🧁
For starters, the children love to bake! The benefits of baking lessons are quite extensive. Children are introduced to a variety of utensils, an enrichment of vocabulary with baking terms and scientific skills. They learn to measure, pour, stir, roll, and scoop all using real, child-sized utensils. The act of baking builds concentration, fosters logical sequencing skills, improves frustration tolerance, and perfects a variety of practical life skills.
Not only are the children able to reap all of these benefits, they also enjoy the fruits of their labor! Bon Appetit!

We are delighted to share joyful news from Arbor's Alumni Network! 💛
Arbor Class of 2007 alum Megha Chiruvella welcomed her son into the world this past April. Both baby and family are doing well, and we couldn’t be happier for them.
We are also thrilled for our current Lead Toddler Teacher, Mamatha, as she begins this special new chapter as a grandmother! Please join us in congratulating their family and celebrating this wonderful new arrival. 👶✨

For our students moving to a new level, May is an exciting time of ceremonies and move up visits to their new classrooms. It's heartwarming to see our older students guide their new young classmates—perhaps remembering their own experiences as they display deep empathy and patience.

Spring Flag Football Recap 🏈
Coming off last year's championship season with a lot of new faces on the team, the flag football team struggled at the beginning of their season. As time progressed and the confidence of the players grew, the results turned around with some big wins against some really competitive teams! Way to practice and persevere, Phoenix Athletes!
