Building Skills & Exploring Future Careers!
Mrs. Larrison took six students to the Manufacturer’s Job Fair at the Decatur Public Library on Thursday, 9-24-26, where 14 local companies were represented from Decatur and surrounding communities.
In preparation for the event, students have been learning about the job interview process, researching companies, preparing questions, creating resumes, and learning how to dress professionally. Our students put their job-readiness skills into action today by introducing themselves to employers, asking questions, sharing their resumes, and exploring future career opportunities. One student completed and submitted his handwritten application to Fuyao, too!
Our graduating seniors dressed for success, built confidence, gained valuable real-world experience, and took another step toward their futures. And after all that hard work, they celebrated with a well-deserved Krekel’s lunch.
We are proud of our students for stepping up, putting themselves out there, and investing in their futures!
