Dragons, some sad news to share..
Ricky Clotfelter '76 passed away this morning after battling diabetes. Arrangements will be conveyed by his family later.

Dragons, I am sad to post that former SHS Coach Clint Flanagan has passed away.

Longtime Gwinnett football coach Clint Flanagan dies at 88 In the early days of the Collins Hill High School football program, Clint Flanagan was a frequent observer at practices.

Dragons, I am beginning to post the reunion group pictures and others on this page. If you attended the reunion, I will send you a copy of your class picture and a few other things from the reunion via your email soon. We are in the process of mopping up the emails and contacts when you checked in. I appreciate your patience. Here is one of the first memories that I have at SHS. Before school started each year, lower classes got their schedules and ran around the halls practicing getting to their next class. It was complete with the bell and super intimidating at first! While I was navigating, Coy Cofer approached me with questions about who I was and if I needed any help with my schedule. He explained that one of his printed elevator passes for 25 cents would be most helpful. I think I paid it and quickly became an instant joke with Coy and the rest of his buddies. All in good fun! I bet you have many memorable recounts of your years at The Rock. Come to the reunion and share them! Registration is growing at over 135 alumni and faculty. Dear Shamrock Family, It's been five years since our last multi-year reunion. Just take a look at this great photo made in 2017 of our precious faculty in attendance. They are probably all wondering if you are coming to the multi-year reunion on Saturday, October 8 at the Atlanta Marriott Century Center Hotel from 7-11 pm. Nearly 100 have registered now. Shall I tell them you are coming? It's a great weekend to register.
