Zion Lutheran School is looking for an afternoon Latchkey Supervisor with regular hours of 3:00-5:30p on Mondays and Fridays, and Wednesdays 2:30-5:30p. Please call the church office at 260-724-7177 or the school office at 260-728-9995 x106 to inquire. Compensation for the employee is a guaranteed daily rate no matter when kids are picked up until 5:30p.

2026 Golf Outing and Hog Roast

The 6th and 7th grade students of Zion Lutheran invite you for a fun day of golf, food, and fellowship. Please join us Sunday, September 27th for our Golf Outing, at Wabash Valley Golf Club & Hog Roast at Zion Lutheran School. All proceeds from this event will go towards our 2028 trip to Washington, D.C. The cost to golf and eat is $75 per person ($300 per team), which includes green fees, cart, a koozie, and the meal. We will play 18 holes with scramble rules. We’ll get things started with a shotgun start at 1:30 pm. If you would like to sign up for golf, please call the school office (728-9995) or talk to a student as soon as possible. Golf teams must be signed up by August 30th. Don’t miss out!

Meal-only tickets will be for sale for $12. The meal will run from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, and takeout is available.

To purchase meal tickets, sign up a golf team, purchase a Yeti, or ask questions about the day, students will be at services before/after church in the narthex on August 30th, September 13th, or September 20th. Walk-up meal tickets will be sold on a limited basis on the day of the event, but please plan on purchasing tickets ahead of time!

Darin comes to us with 26 years of Lutheran education experience and holds a masters in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska. He and his wonderful wife, Emily, have one daughter, Abigail (Abby), who will be in 4th grade at Zion this year. Welcome to Zion, Principal Koenemann!
