CSA Parents:

I hope you received my email regarding the renovations that will begin on November 2nd here at First Baptist Church. We will move completely out of the preschool and be on all three floors of the church. I will let you know where your child's class will be in the next week or so. I think we have it all figured out! It is going to be CRAZY!!!! But it will be fantastic when we move back in!

I promised that you would see what the preschool will look like finished. Here is the video that was put together for the church. It has some animation that shows what we are shooting for in our renovations. You can see that video here:

The bookfair is here. The "Book Fairy" almost forgot and had to run in this morning and get it set up. Thankfully, she had some of her fairy friend who came in early to help her! The book fair will be here until Friday, when the "Book Fairy" will begin packing it up on Friday at 4:30.


Hope you enjoyed the break with your kiddos. I know many of you had beach trips planned. Sorry if Isaias messed it up!

We will have our trick or treat event on Friday, October 30th for our Ones, Twos, Threes and Pre-k, during their learning lab times. They can wear their non-scary costumes and we will go from classroom to classroom to trick or treat. We will need for every child to bring in a bag of wrapped candy for their class to trick or treat with!

Our next holiday is Wednesday, November 11th. It's Veteran's Day!

I realized after this video was made that I had some of the numbers wrong. It is not 1 million but $800,000. Please email me with any questions. I am out of the office until Monday, but will be glad to answer them then. It is going to be awesome when all is said and done. I will be emailing what it may look like in my weekly reminders! Good Morning Parents!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Thankfully, Rock the South did not impact my weekend! I kept waiting for the rain to come but it never did, at least not a my house.

This is a short week due to Fall Break! We will be closed Thursday and Friday of this week.

Next week we begin our semi annual book fair from Scholastic. We benefit from every sale! We receive scholastic dollars to spend on furniture, rugs, books, toys and manipulatives! You can even send this link to your relatives out of town and their purchases will benefit our school.

If you have an outstanding tuition from September, that needs to be paid today! Please remember that we had the material fee ($75 for everyone) and lab fee for Twos, Threes and Pre-k ($50) that were billed in September but don't have to be paid until the end of October.

Also, this month, I will begin looking for the immunization forms required by DHR. If you have not turned those in, please get those to me ASAP. Your doctor can usually fax them over to us.

Good Morning CSA Parents:

Seems like once a month I send out reminders about parking. Please remember for drop off, many parents are trying to drop their kids off and get to work. If it takes you a while to get your child(ren) into the building, please park in one of the designated parking spots (handicapped spots by the playground or along the curb on Church Street and Canal Streets) instead of the turnaround on Church Street or blocking the covered pull through by the playground. These areas are for those who will be dropping of their child(ren) and getting back to their vehicle quickly. If you need to talk to your child's teacher for a few minutes, please park and come in as to keep our traffic moving in a timely manner.
