The Environmental Affairs Council at Millikin University is an organization that works towards promoting recycling and "Going Green" around Millikin's campus, resident halls, and the surrounding community. The EAC also hosts and partners with other organizations at Millikin University for Environmental focused events that get our campus and community involved.

Celebrate Earth Day at Rock Springs Conservation Area! From 8-9am, join an Audubon guide for a bird walk. From 10am-12pm: Help clear trash from the banks of the Sangamon River. From 12-4pm: Examine aquatic wildlife, tour Homestead Prairie Farm, meet live birds from the Illinois Raptor Center, enjoy wagon rides, canoeing, crafts, food, and meet local organizations that are making a difference in your community. Canoeing $2/person. Pony rides $3/child. All other activities are free. No registration required. Held rain or shine! Co-sponsored by the Decatur Audubon Society.
