A boundary can sound simple:

“I can't do that.”

“I'm not comfortable with that.”

“I need some time.”

“That's not something I'm willing to continue.”

Setting a boundary doesn't mean you don't care. It means you're paying attention to what you need.

You don't have to wait until everything feels overwhelming to check in with yourself. 💜

Maybe you've been feeling more irritable lately. Maybe you're finding it hard to relax, or you've been putting your own needs aside because there's always something else to take care of.

It's easy to keep pushing through when you feel like you have to keep everything together. But how are you doing, really?

This World Mental Health Day, give yourself a moment to answer that question honestly. Your feelings deserve attention, too, and you don't have to wait until things get worse before reaching out for support.

If you're in Georgia and would like to explore professional support, learn more about 3d Psychotherapy. https://www.3dpsychotherapy.com/

There's a difference between being considerate of someone else's feelings and feeling responsible for managing their reactions.

If you're constantly rehearsing conversations, avoiding certain topics, or changing yourself to prevent conflict, it may be worth noticing how much energy the pattern takes.

You don't have to label the relationship today.

You can start by paying attention to your experience.

Not every uncomfortable feeling needs an immediate explanation.

Sometimes it's worth slowing down and asking yourself:

What am I noticing?

You can take your time. You can ask questions. You can set a boundary. You can talk with someone you trust.

You don't have to have everything figured out before you pay attention to what you're experiencing.

Sometimes the first thing to change isn't the relationship.

It's how you see yourself inside it.

Maybe you're second-guessing your words. Maybe you're constantly thinking about the other person's reaction. Maybe you're taking responsibility for keeping things calm.

If you've noticed a pattern, you can pause and pay attention to it.

What is this relationship asking you to carry?

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This month, 3dpsychotherapy is opening a broader conversation about relational stress, boundaries, control, and the ways difficult relationship dynamics can affect our well-being.

If you're in Georgia and relationship stress is affecting your mental health, you can learn more about support through 3dpsychotherapy.

You don't need to be:
Flexible

Athletic
"Good" at movement

There's no choreography to learn and no right way to participate. Stillness is welcome, too.

Current + The Calm is an 8-week restorative movement therapy group experience for anyone who puts a lot of pressure on themselves to get things right.

We're gathering interest now. To register, fill out the form here: https://forms.gle/4fhqyXVkYkmeAu9F6

You can be good at getting things done and still feel like you’re running on empty.

Maybe you’re the person everyone counts on.

You meet the deadline.
You answer the message.
You handle the next thing.

Then you finally have a quiet moment, and instead of feeling relieved, you’re already thinking about what needs to happen next.

For some overachievers, slowing down can bring up its own kind of discomfort. The to-do list gets quiet, but your mind doesn’t.

So here’s a question worth sitting with:

When you have nothing you need to accomplish right now, what do you notice?

Is it relief?
Guilt?
Restlessness?
Or maybe you’re not even sure.

There’s no right answer.

Tell us one word that comes to mind.

Keep in mind: you need care, too. 💜

Take care of your body, your mind, and your emotional well-being.

Life can get busy. Responsibilities can pile up. But making time for yourself isn’t selfish it’s part of taking care of you.

Pause. Rest. Breathe.
Make space for the things that help you feel grounded, restored, and connected to yourself.

You deserve time to recharge.

Happy Labor Day!

Today is a reminder that rest is part of taking care of ourselves, too.

Whether you’re spending the day with loved ones, enjoying some quiet time, or simply taking a break from the usual routine, give yourself permission to pause and recharge.

Your well-being matters not just when you’re running on empty, but every day.

✨ Take a breath. Slow down. Rest when you need to.
