We are excited to announce that Legacy Academy is officially an approved CHOOSE Act Vendor!🥳🎊🤩

What does this mean??🤔

There is an evident national, state, and local trend showing that families are exploring new options when it comes to their child’s education. Alabama legislators responded by introducing the CHOOSE Act to help give families options.

Families can apply to receive funds for an “Education Savings Account” to pay for tuition, fees, and other qualified education expenses through approved Education Services Providers.

As an approved Education Service Provider, this means you can use your child’s ESA to pay tuition at Legacy Academy!!😊🙌🏼❤️

Is My Child Ready for Kindergarten? ✨🎒

Starting kindergarten is a big milestone for both kids and parents! 💛 Here are a few signs your child might be ready:

🖍️ Can they follow simple directions? 📚 Show curiosity about learning (letters, numbers, stories)? 🧸 Play and interact with other children?
📖 Recgonize and name letters or numbers?  👕 Handle basic self-care (like going to the bathroom on their own, washing hands, or putting on shoes)? 🗣️ Express their needs and feelings?

Remember—every child grows at their own pace. Readiness isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being prepared to grow. 🌱

The Alabama Department of Education reports that public school enrollment has seen its steepest decline since the 1980s with 5,823 students leaving in 2025–2026 alone.

And it’s not just Alabama! The National Center for Education Statistics projects U.S. public school enrollment will drop 7.6% by 2031 due to increased school choices.
