A cosmetology license requires 1,500 hours.

But what happens during those 1,500 hours depends a whole lot on where you spend them. 👀

At Bennett, we don’t believe in doing the minimum just because the minimum gets you licensed.

We believe those hours should be spent building confidence behind the chair. Working with real clients. Learning from educators who actively work in the industry. Getting hands-on with professional color. Learning from guest educators and major brands. Making mistakes, asking questions, trying again, and actually understanding the WHY behind what you’re doing.

Because the goal isn’t just to get you through State Board.

The goal is to prepare you for what comes after it. 🖤

Choose your 1,500 hours wisely.

Enrollment is open for our next class starting in January.

You can say education is a priority, but we think it should show. 👏

This week, we brought a Wella educator in from Atlanta just for Bennett.

Tuesday, our educators got an in-depth look at the Wella line, techniques, and approach to color education so they can continue bringing that knowledge into the classroom.

Then Wednesday was all about our students. 🖤

They spent the day learning highlighting and color techniques directly from a Wella educator, getting the kind of hands-on, brand-led education we believe they should experience before they ever graduate.

We bring in outside educators. We invest in additional education. We give our students opportunities that go beyond what’s required to get a license.

We could stick to the curriculum and call it enough. We don’t.

Because at Bennett, the minimum has never been the standard. 🖤
