Fall Picture Day is right around the corner! 📸

Decatur Middle and Decatur High School picture day will be on Friday, August 21st for students in 5th-11th grade. Picture forms can be picked up in the Middle/High school office.

Sign-ups for Volleyball and Flag Football with the Boys and Girls Club are available in both offices! Sign-ups are due August 21st and there is no fee to play.

Be sure to come visit us at Open House next Wednesday, August 5th from 11 AM - 7 PM! Students and families will have the opportunity to tour the building, meet the teachers and staff members, and pick up their class schedules for the school year. If you missed Open Enrollment for DMS & DHS a couple weeks ago, you can also pick up new student and returning 5th - 8th grade student packets and even drop off enrollment packets that need returned. We'll see you there!

Enrollment will be held in the District Board Room located on the Middle School side of the campus. Counselors and office staff will be available to answer any questions and assist with the enrollment process. We can't wait to see everyone!

Happy Principal’s Day, Mr. Boeving!

Happy Principal’s Day to one of the best! We are so grateful to have Mr. Boeving working here at DMS & DHS. He truly goes above and beyond for his students and staff, and we greatly appreciate the hard work and dedication he puts toward ensuring our scholars succeed. Thanks for all you do, Mr. Boeving!

As always safety is our main priority at DHS & DMS. This afternoon we conducted an intruder *DRILL* throughout the buildings and put the buildings in lockdown. We would like to stress that this was *ONLY* a drill. Thank you! 🐾

Ryder, an emotional support dog, visited Decatur Middle School last week where he was able to meet students and staff members!. We loved seeing all of the smiles on the children’s faces and look forward to seeing him again. He will be coming twice a week to support our students!
