Thank you, Richard Lovett, CEP, Code Manager at City of DeLand, FL. We love partnering with you and Florida’s code enforcement community!
“As a code enforcement professional and an active leader within the Florida Association of Code Enforcement (FACE), I have seen firsthand the value of partnerships that promote education, safety, and compliance. Sunshine 811 is one of those partners.
The work they do goes far beyond locating underground utilities. Through training, outreach and ongoing support, Sunshine 811 helps code enforcement officers, contractors, and property owners better understand Florida's safe digging law and the critical role it plays in protecting lives, property, and essential infrastructure.
Code enforcement and Sunshine 811 share a common goal: protecting our communities through education and prevention. By working together, we help reduce dangerous incidents, increase compliance, and promote a culture of safety throughout Florida.
We are grateful for Sunshine 811's commitment to public safety and appreciate the partnership they have built with code enforcement professionals across our state.”
It's Florida Code Enforcement Officer Appreciation Week! We're recognizing the professionals who help enforce the safe digging law, prevent dangerous situations from occurring and keep our communities safe every day.
