Elaine Linderman lost her mother January 15th. Here is her post:
"Friends, it’s with great sadness I wanted to let you know my mom Jean passed away. She was a wonderful mom and we are going to miss her dearly. The Lord has been gracious..I John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
I take comfort in that my mom knew the Lord and I will see her again!

Her passion was truly music and piano playing. There are so many favorite songs of ours and hers but she always said Misty was her theme song......please enjoy!"

Jason Rhoades, class of '86, passed away Thursday night, October 3. His death is being investigated by police after he was found unresponsive and an ambulance was called. He had many friends in the '84 class.

Does anyone remember what our class song was that was selected by the students? The parents selected Celebration but we had another one.......

To All Dearborn High Grads: I am sorry to say that Dearborn High's legendary Golf Coach Carl Flegle passed away this Tuesday Feb. 1, 2017 at the age of 93. Mr. Flegle was my coach in 1981 and 1982 then he retired. He was also my father's coach at DHS from 1954 to 1956 (1956 DHS won the state tournement and my father Fred King was the medalist). Mr. Flegle lived out his life in Dearborn and my dad still had breakfast with him once a month. He will be remembered by thousands of DHS grad as a golf coach, gym teacher and hell of a fine man. There is a memorial being planned in the next few months.

As Mr. Flegle use to say to motivate us "GET HOT AND STAY HOT!!!"

Graduates ... please be reminded that we are NOT able to admit people at the door who have not purchased a ticket by the deadline. We have to pre-pay for the exact number of guests that have paid by the deadline; therefore, those who show up at the door that night without having paid will NOT be admitted. Please do not put us in the position to have to ask you to leave. That is not fair to the other graduates nor to the people who have spent the last year putting this together. The information has been out for a year and people have had plenty of time to decide if they want to come or not.

Most have heard by now...if not...we lost our son Christopher Friday evening approx. 8 :12 p.m. to 8 :20 p.m. at the young age of 21..... as he took his life after battling with a health issue that we kept private to respect his wishes over 2 years. He fought for so long. He is now healed. Free. Happy. & OK. We feel his presence strongly among us. We of course are in shock. We are reading all of your texts, chat messages, voice mails and e.mails. nothing has gone unnoticed and for this we are very grateful. How can you help ? Prayer. Our entire family needs prayer of healing and peace. For weeks to come. Eventually we will all need to begin eating again and would be very grateful for a meal rotation to begin for our family beginning Monday. There is nothing else anyone can do. We cannot bring him back. Chris had a heart of gold and gave to everyone. In need. Monetary donation charity info coming this week. For now..please visit Tony's car wash and donate 20 dollars to Chris's friend Alex who Chris always tipped 20 dollars to because he is in need. Chris was the type of person who would pay for the bill of the people behind him even in a fast food drive thru and tell the cashier not to say it was him but that they were taken care of. He was amazing ..always blessing others and never expecting a thing in return. We will miss him dearly. I will need help.You may also see Jim N Terri Dulmage for food rotation meal volunteering. Nothing fancy. Can even help with carryouts. . He will be helping me to coordinate. Can anyone else help in this way ? See him or send friend request to them and inquire. ....for meal rotation schedule. thank you for your kind words and support. We will all be OK over time. Just know Chris is healed. For this we celebrate! Thank you so very much.
