PTL will be hosting a family movie night this Friday evening and showing The King of Kings in the fellowship hall. Bring your comfy blankets and pillows at 6:15pm; we'll start the movie at 6:30.

Registration isn't required but would be appreciated so we have a rough head count.

Entrance is free; concessions will be available. Children should be accompanied by an adult!

A few quick reminders:

🗓️ Orders & money are due by Friday, November 7 (you can return order forms early)
💰 Double-check your forms and make sure payments match the totals listed.
💵 Families collect and track their own payments — cash or checks (made payable to you).

📦 Pick-Up Day:
Thursday, November 20 | 11 AM – 2 PM

If you’re not able to make it during that time, please reach out to Jessica Adams (tagged in this post) to coordinate pickup. She’ll be happy to help make arrangements!

✨ PTL Meeting Recap — October 20th ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us Monday! Here’s a look at what’s happening around Guardian:

🍕 Penny Wars was a huge hit! Congratulations to our Argos family for winning the pizza party — the kids LOVED it! We’ll definitely plan to bring this back again in the future (maybe every other year).

👕 “Love Like Jesus” T-Shirts: The tie-dye shirts were such a success that we even reopened the order form for a second round! Total spent on shirts was $3,063, with $1,392 earned back from tie-dye sales. We did have a few shirts getting replaced due to the vinyl peeling.

🍪 October Bake Sale raised $238 — thank you to everyone who baked, bought, and supported!

🎬 Family Movie Night will take place Friday, November 14th! This free event will include concessions available for purchase. The Daddy Daughter Dance has been moved to March 13th to give families a break from the busy holiday season.

🍞 Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser officially kicked off today! The feedback has been awesome. Orders can be placed through any student or on the extra order form at the welcome desk. Pick-up will be at the Westland location on November 20th from 11 AM–2 PM via the pickup window. If you can’t make that time, contact Jessica Adams and we’ll arrange to help with pickup!

After this fundraiser, we’ll take a breather from extra events until after the holidays and focus on:

✨ Teacher Tuesday & PTL Hot Lunch for Nov/Dec
Next dining-to-donate is tentatively planned for January.

Parents — keep an eye out! Order forms will be sent home this week along with a letter from the PTL explaining more about what we’re raising funds for and why this project is so important to our school community. 💛

This year’s “Cards & Carbs” fundraiser includes:
🥖 Frozen Rolls – $8/dozen
🍯 Honey Cinnamon Butter – $2 (8 oz)
💳 Gift Cards – $10, $25, or $50

🧡 10% of all gift card sales and 50% of all rolls & butter sales will be donated back to support our school!

The fundraiser runs October 20–November 7 — so check those backpacks and folders for order forms!

📍 A spare order form will also be available at the Welcome Desk for anyone in our congregation who would like to order.
