Live now: Dr. Gelderloos is giving 20th Anniversary Celebration and Dr. Gelderloos's Legacy Lecture

The EIC is turning 20. Join us on May 21 at 4 pm for a virtual celebration of the anniversary. Dr. Orin Gelderloos will mark the occasion by delivering his long-awaited, once-postponed Legacy Lecture, reflecting on his 50 years of service as professor of biology and environmental studies in connection with his recent retirement.

Public Information Meeting: Hazardous Waste License Renewal Application for US Ecology, Detroit South, Wayne County
Description
On Thursday, December 10, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) will host a virtual public meeting to provide community members with an opportunity to learn about the license renewal application submitted by US Ecology to treat and store hazardous waste at 1923 Frederick Street in Detroit Michigan. Attendees will learn about facility operations and the EGLE licensing process for hazardous waste facilities under Part 111, Hazardous Waste Management, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act and its administrative rules.

Pre-registration is not required to attend the meeting. Individuals interested in participating can click on the registration link (https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_iCXitKxDSgquAUIOqMp6qw) at the start of the event (6:00 p.m.).
