MASSP is again recognizing some of our outstanding staff. A big shout out to Nicole Rabac and Woodworth Middle School.
What if the secret to turning around a struggling middle school wasn’t an expensive tech platform, but a quiet library, a simple weekly script and a rowdy Friday afternoon ice cream party?
MASSP At-Large Representative, Nicole Rabac, shares how two Michigan principals who inherited buildings struggling with academics, discipline, and inconsistent student supports, built a system focused on one thing: making sure no student slipped through the cracks.
The results?
📈 More students earning A's and B's
📈 Increased honor roll participation
📈 Stronger family engagement
📈 Fewer missing assignments
📈 A culture built on connection instead of compliance
Discover how Mason and Pierce Middle Schools transformed their approach to student support—and the leadership lessons every principal can apply in their own building.
