The Dearborn Education Foundation is proud to welcome Mallak Anani to our Board of Directors! π
Mallak is a dedicated community leader who currently serves as a Judicial Law Clerk to Michigan Supreme Court Justice Kyra H. Bolden. A three-time graduate of the University of Michigan, she holds a Juris Doctor, Master of Public Policy, and Bachelor of Arts, bringing a powerful background in education, public policy, and civil rights.
Throughout her career, Mallak has served in roles with the Michigan Departments of the Attorney General and Education, the White House, and previously taught high school English Language Arts, reflecting her deep commitment to public service and education.
As a proud product of Dearborn Public Schools, Mallak is passionate about strengthening public education and expanding opportunities for students and families in our community. She is also a devoted mother, wife, and one of eight siblings.

Please join us in welcoming Ziad Abdulmalik as the newest member of the Board of Directors for the Dearborn Education Foundation.
Ziad is a Dearborn resident, community advocate, and proud father of three. Two of his children currently attend Dearborn Public Schools, with the youngest soon to follow. As a parent, he cares deeply about the success of our schools and the future of the city his family calls home.
Ziad has been actively involved in civic and community initiatives throughout Dearborn. He previously served on the Dearborn City Beautiful Commission and has supported charitable efforts that strengthen our local community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he helped organize food collection and distribution efforts to support children and families in need.
In recognition of his leadership and civic engagement, Ziad was named to the Arab America 40 Under 40.
We are honored to have Ziad join our board and look forward to the impact he will help make as we continue creating opportunities that support the next generation of students. π
