This past week, an 11th grader at Crestwood High School got beat up by 3 kids which left him passed out and in a coma.
I can’t imagine the level of stress and devastation the family is experiencing; if it was my kid- all hell would break loose, and I’d probably end up in jail.
We have to teach our kids to be tough. Not reactive, but assertive. If someone messes with them, that someone will be sorry- not the other way around.
We can’t stop war, hate, bullies, stereotypes, illnesses, etc. but we CAN equip our youth: Mind, Body, Soul, and Spirit to prepare for the unexpected.
Knowledge is power, self-defense is important, and most importantly- is everything.… if our kids aren’t met with love, they’ll be prepared to fight a war against fear and hate 100% …. May God keep our community, kids, and teens safe from harm, especially safe from harming each other 😢💯.
