A little friendly competition for a great cause!

Football players from Crestwood, Fordson, Divine Child, Dearborn High, and Edsel Ford recently competed in Emo’s 1st Annual Wing Eating Contest! Congratulations to Fordson, who took home the win with an incredible 38 wings eaten in just 5 minutes! Crestwood senior, Ahmad Bazzi, proudly represented the CHS football team in the competition.

But the biggest win of the night was for all five football programs! Thanks to the generosity of Emo’s Brick Oven Pizza, Custard Co., and Tony’s Car Wash, each participating football team received a $500 donation!

Thank you to the local businesses that made this event possible and to everyone who came out to support our student-athletes. We appreciate our community coming together to support local schools and programs!

Meet Nadine Amen, a counselor at Crestwood High School who embodies what it means to see potential in every student. Her belief that it's never too late to turn things around isn't just a nice sentiment, it's the mindset that helped one of her students earn 23 credits and walk across the graduation stage this year. The Back-to-School Kickoff has a new date and time! We can’t wait to celebrate the start of the 2026–2027 school year with our Crestwood families on Thursday, August 20th, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Crestwood High School!

To provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for all families, a sensory-friendly hour will be offered from 4:00–5:00 PM, prior to the main event.
