🚒 Thank you to the Dearborn Heights Fire Department for visiting Highview and teaching our kindergarten students about fire safety!

Our students also got an unexpected look at firefighters in action when the crew received an emergency call. They watched the firefighters quickly get ready and head out to help others—a real-life glimpse of the important work they do every day!

Thank you for your time, your service, and for making this a memorable learning experience! ❤️

Count Day is TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 7th!

Count Day plays an important role in determining funding for our schools, and accurate student attendance helps ensure Crestwood School District receives the resources needed to support our students, staff, programs, and services.

Please make every effort to have your child at school and on time on October 7th, unless they are not feeling well. Thank you to our Crestwood families for helping make Count Day count!

Sara Murray, 3rd Grade Teacher at Highview Elementary School, reminds us what's possible when we pair intentional instruction with a culture of trust. Her EL students moved from well below benchmark to approaching or meeting grade-level math expectations last year, proving that language barriers don't have to stand in the way of meaningful academic growth. This is the kind of work that brings Crestwood's commitment to math improvement and student success to life every single day.
