Here's another WhyGreekNiu.
Meet Mitch krafcheck, a brother of the local ΦΚΨ and here's why he made the decision to rush: I went Greek because I wanted a social atmosphere that agreed with my values. The guys in my fraternity emulate what I want. To serve the community and treat others with respect while still enjoying the weekends.

Here's another Wednesday ,
This is Rashad Barbor from our Local ΣΑΕ ILGA and how he feels about going Greek:
I always considered going Greek when I got to NIU. I had three friends on my floor that went Greek and told me all about it. They mentioned things I had no idea about called "mixers". I thought at a mixer you just ate cheese and drank wine. But I didn't realize how great of networking opportunity they would turn out to be. So when it came to the spring semester I started going out more and checking out houses. Originally I thought I would take my talents to a divine nine then I went to Sigma Alpha Epsilon I just knew I was meant to be here. My pops told me one day "When you get to college surround yourself with some diversity and you guys will benefit from each other one day". Now I am best friends and brothers with people of all nationalities. Sigma Alpha Epsilons diversity is off the charts and it really means a lot. I love that I went Greek.
