We're inviting parents and community members to connect with our schools through the Community Partner Hub β€” whether that's speaking with students about your job, hosting a job shadow, or offering an internship. It's a simple way to help students of all ages start exploring what life after graduation could look like.

Every partnership is guided by clear expectations and a designated school contact, so it's simple, safe, and purposeful from start to finish.

Visit the Community Partner Hub page on our website to learn more (like can be found in the comments ⬇️).

We'd love to have you share your story with our students!

Safety Request Regarding Bikes and Scooters on Campus 🚲 πŸ›΄

Across Johnson County, communities have seen a significant rise in the number of e-bikes and e-scooters on roads and sidewalks, including around our schools. Along with this increase is a growing concern about the safety of children and teens operating these motorized devices.

If your student rides an e-bike, e-scooter, traditional bicycle, or similar device to school, we respectfully ask that you encourage them to walk their bike or scooter once they arrive on school district property.

Slowing down in these high-traffic areas can help increase alertness and reduce the chances of an accident during the busiest times of the school day, such as arrival and dismissal.

We appreciate your consideration and partnership in helping keep all of our students safe!

The Mize Elementary pond was recently cleaned by their local Girl Scout troop, Principal Tyler Hays, and Technology Teacher Jaimee Berry. The group made the pond look brand new!

Thank you to these Girl Scouts for serving the Mize community! πŸ‘
