🌺🌴 ALOHA, LEOPARDS! 🌴🌺

We kick off our first home football game of the season with a little island spirit! Our students and staff celebrated Hawaiian Day by breaking out the leis, tropical shirts, grass skirts, and plenty of school spirit!

We loved seeing everyone get into the fun and help cheer on our Leopards! 🐆🏈

Tonight is Kindergarten Night at Leopard Stadium, and we are excited to welcome our newest "Little Leopards" to their first official Friday Night Lights!

Kindergarten students should wear their special shirts and be on the field by 7:15 p.m. to help form our traditional spirit tunnel and cheer on the Leopards as they take the field!

A huge shout-out goes to The Leopard Den at DHS, led by Ms. Dosher, for creating shirts for every member of the kindergarten class. Thank you for helping make this night extra special for our youngest Leopards!

📚✨ Beginning-of-Year ATLAS Screener Testing Dates ✨📚

Our Kindergarten–2nd Grade students will be taking the Beginning-of-Year ATLAS Screener starting this week. This screener is used to understand where each student is academically as we begin the school year and is required by the state.

We ask our families to help us make testing days successful by making sure students:

⏰ Arrive on time and ready to learn
🥞 Eat a good breakfast to fuel their brains
😴 Get a good night’s rest
💛 Come feeling confident and encouraged

Most importantly, we want our students to know that they are more than a test score!

We are off to such a GREAT start at De Queen Primary! 🐾💛

Our little Leopards have walked through the doors ready to learn, grow, make new friends, and have FUN! We are so thankful for the sweet smiles, excited faces, dedicated teachers, supportive families, and everyone who works so hard to make De Queen Primary such a special place to be.

Here’s to a wonderful school year full of learning, laughter, friendships, and lots of Leopard PRIDE! 💛🖤

Thank You, Sevier County Fair Board!

A BIG thank you to the Sevier County Fair Board for generously donating four carnival armbands for the upcoming Sevier County Fair!

Students from each grade level were entered into a wheel, and the lucky winners were selected at random! We loved the excitement as the wheel spun to choose our winners!

We are so thankful to the Sevier County Fair Board for supporting our students and allowing them to enjoy some carnival fun!

Congratulations to our lucky winners, and have a GREAT time at the fair!

A big THANK YOU to First State Bank for treating our faculty and staff to delicious veggie, meat, and cheese trays during our first full week of school!
