Congratulations to both our boys and girls Cross Country teams! In Sectionals action last weekend in Manitowoc, both teams finished as runners up and will advance to state!! The Sectional Champion runners were both our athletes, too - Brady L. and Bella H! Great job, Redbirds!!

The Wisconsin Chapter of USATF is offering an all-comers meet in Kenosha on 11/5. Age group competition starts with an 8 and under category and advances by 2 year groups to 19+. The meet website is: https://wisconsin.usatf.org/events/2023/usatf-cross-county-meet.

The De Pere Invitational is now the James Boyd Invitational in honor of the 30+ years that Coach Boyd devoted to our track and CC teams. The meet is held at the UW-GB Division 1 CC course and was managed by the GB CC program. It was a challenging course in a beautiful setting and wonderfully managed. Congratulation to the UWGB CC program and to Co-Head Coaches Chris Hendricks and Jackie Joseph for a fantastic meet -- and what a great way to honor Coach Boyd! The value of the course is that the meet has grown to 34 teams now! Here's the varsity results from the Press - Gazette:

From Head Coach Randy Soquet: Hello,

The De Pere Track Team and Athletic Department are hosting the Division 1 Track Regional on Monday May 22nd. The district is providing many workers for the meet but more are needed to make this a high quality and well run meet.

Please use this De Pere Track & Field: Track Meet Volunteers 5/22 (signupgenius.com) to volunteer at the meet. Students, this counts as service hours so feel free to bring me your sheets to sign in school in the days following the meet.
