I LOVE my SDI family!!! I have always had the freedom to DO better, BE better this is just my agency family making a public affirmation! NEVER more than two teams of three in my class, ever and ALWAYS another pro diving and watching over students safety and wellbeing right along side me. Now we SCUBA!

In diving, leadership is often assumed rather than developed. But in practice, it shapes every decision, every interaction and every outcome.

This blog explores what leadership really means in operational diving environments and why it cannot be separated from safety. It looks at how leadership influences communication, decision making and team performance, especially under pressure.

It also challenges the idea that leadership only sits at the top of an organisation. In reality, it shows up at every level, in small decisions, everyday behaviours and how people respond when conditions change.
