Wisconsin UCC Gospellers

Wisconsin UCC Gospellers The Wisconsin Conference gospel music ministry has flourished since 2007. The GOSPELLERS also sing for workshops and worship services throughout Wisconsin.

Begun as an international people-to-people exchange, with gospel music (sung in English) as a common language, the Wisconsin Conference gospel music ministry has flourished for over a decade. The GOSPELLERS have hosted German gospel choirs in Wisconsin on several occasions, and have made three trips to Germany. In 2016, the GOSPELLERS began a new partnership with Safe Haven UCC (Queens, NY) and th

e New York Conference of the United Church of Christ. Traveling to New York City in 2017 provided a rich opportunity to learn more about gospel music’s roots, and to sing with the New York Conference’s newly established gospel choir. The GOSPELLERS understand ourselves as a 21st century faith community that gathers monthly to celebrate God’s expansive love through music and fellowship—and to support one another’s faith journeys.

📈 We are all experiencing a rise in our food prices, but the people who harvest our food are often left out of the conversation. This webinar connects the cost-of-living crisis to migrant labor while exploring the roles of faith in this justice advocacy.

✨ Join us for an eye-opening conversation with faith and community leaders. Our conversation partners will share actionable ways for viewers to participate in Fill the JAR and Love Knows No Borders campaigns.

BLOOD SUPPLY SHORTAGE

For the 2nd time in US history, the Red Cross has issued a severe blood supply shortage. There is a 4-year summer low, worsening the emergency shortage and threatening patient care.

Versiti will be at Pilgrim on Thursday, September 3, 2:00–6:30 pm.

All blood types are needed, with Type O being in serious demand. If you are able to give blood, please consider a donation; if not here on Sept. 3, then hopefully at your earliest opportunity.

🧊 As Immigration and Custom's Enforcement (ICE) continues to terrorize communities, separate families, and even kill citizens and non-citizens alike as part of this administration’s mass deportation campaign, there is also increased public scrutiny of this country’s detention center system for migrants.

🧊 In 2025 alone, ICE broke records for the number of people who have died in detention, most often due to the horrific conditions and lack of proper medical care. Since this administration's inauguration in 2025, 52 people have died in detention according to Human Rights Watch—four times that of the previous administration.

📣 Join us to learn from UCC pastors and lay leaders as they share how they've taken action and learn what we can do as people of faith to stop detention and continue to resist this deadly system.

🫶🏾 What’s your UCC Welcome Story?

In the United Church of Christ, we believe in extravagant welcome—a place where every person is seen, loved, and accepted just as they are. Somewhere, someone is searching for a sign that they belong. Often, that sign is a story—your story.

Maybe it was the moment someone remembered your name after just one visit. Maybe it was the feeling of being embraced without expectation or judgment. Maybe it was realizing that UCC is more than a church—it’s a community, a family, a home.

As we approach our 70th anniversary, we invite you to share your story of welcome. Your experience could be the sign someone else needs to know they belong.
