Calling all Delco teachers! 📢

Registration is now open for this year's 4-H Embryology School Enrichment Project! This four-week program is geared towards youth in grades 2nd-5th and provides hands-on and engaging lessons in the growth and development in chick embryos. Classrooms spend the first three weeks managing and learning about their incubating eggs, and welcome their hatched chicks in the fourth and final week! 🐣

We are excited to share one of our newest 4-H clubs: the Rabbit Club! 🐰

Youth ages 8-18 are invited to join us on the first Monday of each month at 6pm to explore all things rabbits! Club members will learn about animal care and health, housing needs, best husbandry practices, and more. No prior experience with rabbits or personal pets required! Only an enthusiasm for these fuzzy critters is needed. 💚

⚠️ New Club Alert! ⚠️

We are excited to share that we will be adding a 4-H Environmental Science Club to our programming this year!

Youth ages 8-18 are invited to join us monthly from November through June to learn about our natural world around us. Club members will engage in hands-on activities centered around plants, wildlife, conservation, and more! 🌳🐦♻️

Families who are currently involved in our 4-H programs are encouraged to add this club to their ZSuite profile when enrollment opens on October 1st.

Registration is now open for the PA 4-H Wildlife & Forestry Competition! 🌳🐾

The competition will be held on Saturday, October 17 at Blue Spruce Creek Park in Indiana, PA.

This year, the Forestry and Wildlife competitions are transitioning from the spring field day to a stand-alone full-day event in the fall. This change will allow for a more comprehensive state competition that better reflects national contest formats and provides participants with additional time to prepare and build their skills.

This event is open to 4-H youth ages 14-18. Members must be at least 14 years old as of January 1, 2026, to be eligible for selection to a national team.
