It is with a heavy heart that I announce the difficult decision I have made to permanently close my licensed home and family childcare business, King's Country Daycare. It has taken much deliberation and thought to reach this final determination, effective today.
Amid opening the doors of my childcare business and providing care to so many wonderful children over the past four years, I discovered my true underlying passion within early learning education. I found pure joy in not only the creation and implementation of a small preschool curriculum, but also in supporting the development of young minds. I decided to expand upon that passion by furthering my education and with the intent of eventually finding a career within a kindergarten to third grade classroom in the future. I am happy to reveal that I have unexpectedly achieved some of my goals ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, that also marks the end of my career owning and operating my personal childcare business.
I would like to thank every single person who supported myself and King's Country Daycare along the way. Most importantly, I would like to thank each family that entered the doors of King's Country Daycare. Thank you for entrusting your precious little ones with me each day. It has truly been an honor and a privilege caring for and getting to know all your wondrous little humans.
Today has been full of bittersweet moments and tearful goodbyes. I wish each child all the best in their future endeavors. Thank you for enriching my life while attending King's Country Daycare over the past four years, and for all the heartwarming memories. You are forever engraved in my heart.
