🎉 Field Day is coming to Beachside Elementary! 🎉
Mark your calendars for Friday, May 22nd — it’s going to be a fun-filled day for our students!
Field Day Schedule:
☀️ 4th & 5th Grade / Foley & Ferrari: 8:20–9:50
☀️ K–3rd Grade / Pre-K & Preyss: 10:05–11:35
☀️ 1st & 2nd Grade / Martin & Stanley: 12:15–1:45

Important Information:
✔️ ALL students must have a signed permission slip on file to participate.
🚫 Students without a completed form will not be allowed to participate and will report to the Media Center during their scheduled time.
📄 Permission slips will be sent home next week—please keep an eye out! If you don’t receive one by the end of the week, contact your child’s teacher.

Volunteers Needed! 🙌
We’d love your help to make this event a success! You can volunteer for the full day or just during your child’s time slot. Please note: volunteers may be assigned to run activities and may not be stationed with their child.
👉 All volunteers must be approved through Volusia County Schools’ Raptor program. If you’re unsure of your status, please contact the front office.

What to Bring:
💧 Change of clothes, shoes, and a towel (there will be water events!)
☀️ Apply sunscreen at home before school (sunscreen cannot be applied on campus)

⏰ 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 250 US 1 (Rte 1), Ormond Beach, FL 32174

💲 Cost:
• $10 per student (ages 3–17) – includes skates
• $10 per adult only if you wish to skate

⚠️ This is a family event (NOT a drop-off event).
All students must remain with a guardian for the entire event. Thank you for your support and cooperation!

Proceeds from this event help offset the cost of the FREE events PTA hosts at Beachside, like the Friendship Dance and Turtle-palooza. 💙
