Mainland High School

It is with an incredibly heavy and broken heart that I share that our beloved Dino passed away yesterday, surrounded by his family.
Dino was so much more than a member of our staff. For many years now, he has been an important part of the heart and soul of Mainland High School. His presence, kindness, dedication, and genuine care for others touched countless lives throughout our campus. He was the first one on campus each day to make sure the campus was ready to welcome us. It is moments like this that make us pause and realize how fragile life is.
There are simply no words that can adequately express the sadness we feel or how tremendously he will be missed. We will miss hearing his voice, seeing him come around the corner, his helping hand, the hugs, and the great Dino moments:( Our school will not feel the same without him. Yet, even in our grief, we are grateful for the many years we were blessed to know him, work alongside him, laugh with him, and call him one of our own.
Please keep Dino’s family, friends, and all who loved him in your thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking time. Please also take care of one another. Grief affects each of us differently, and I know this loss will be felt deeply across our entire Mainland family. If you need support, a listening ear, or simply a place to sit with someone, please know that we are here for you. There will be extra grief support on campus Monday.
Dino will always be part of our Mainland story, our family, and our hearts. We will honor his life by remembering his smile, the lives he touched, and the difference he made at Mainland.
Rest peacefully, Dino. You were deeply loved, and you will be missed more than words can ever express.
